I’m not the only one enjoying Pumpkin today.
It’s Happy Pumpkin Day here.
The day is like any other, only without a commute.
It had coffee, x2…okay, x3.
It had knitting.
We watched a Charlie Brown Pumpkin movie
THANKS DEB! JJ loved it!
It had a visit to the pumpkin patch.
After one trip down the tiger slide, JJ was over his fears.
He slid down the tiger slide, bounced in the one above, and played in the King Kong obstacle course.
Ahhhhh, such fun. Nothing like an hour of jumping/climbing/sliding to wear out your toddler.
Of course Happy Pumpkin Day needs pumpkins….
…and pumpkin spiced latte.
It had astronauts happy.

never mind all the pumpkin attractions that cost me 30 bucks in tickets. It's the 50 cent space shuttle that made his day
PERFECT!
Okay, enough silly squash talk.
This is a yarn blog right?
I have hit my mark for the KAL this week.
I have hit my mark and then some on Aidez, so I am contemplating setting it aside for the rest of the week and doing some holiday or other knitting.
I am loving the knit, now that I have a handle on it all. My fear is, that I’ll struggle with other parts down the road and fall behind; or fall of the planet completely, like last time.
What to do…. what to do.
I am 3 rows from hitting the end of the 24 row Trellis pattern shown above, so I think I’ll stop there for a couple of days….maybe.
Happy Pumpkin Day needs a good hour of Yoga….
and maybe those last 3 rows…..
I did say maybe!
Happy Pumpkin Day 2011.
See you next year!

Sounds like a perfect fall day to me, Cindy!
I knew you were knitting Aidez, even before you told us; obviously, too much time spent on Ravelry!
Keep on knitting; it looks lovely!

I don’t think I’m going to be able to put it down! Plus the yarn is heaven to work with!

What a fun day! Poor little JJ looks so terrified in that picture! Glad he made a speedy turnaround back to happy face! So excited to see that face in a few days!!! YAY!!!!

WE ARE SO EXCITED TOO!
and don’t worry, that’s his Mad JJ face. He makes it quite often.
he wears his emotions on his sleeve, as they say!
I’m just afraid he’ll make it so much it will get stuck like that!
HAHAAAA

Yay! It looks fantastic!
I’m going to come over there and hit you if you keep talking about how you are worried about it getting hard in the future. You’ve already done the hardest part! Stop freaking worrying!

Cool!
what time will you be here!
I’ll make coffee!
haha
Beatnik really beat me up. I never frogged it, I just look at it and wonder why I think I can knit!
it’s the chart reading, not the knitting that foulded me up, so I get it. Either way, Aidez was really worth the head scratching!
and so was buying the right yarn for once.

I love how quickly kids get over stuff hahaha. Glad he enjoyed the day, and that you did too! I love the color of the pinky yarn, very pretty! I’ve been doing some holiday macrame crafts with my cheap yarn and beads during “recovery.” as I suddenly have a lot of couch time haha.

Im gonna have to play with my color filters better, because the yarn is rusty/orange.
haha
I can see how it looks pinky.
ha!
and yeah, he was over it (as always) in lightning speed time!
